Can I actually shower with less than a gallon of water?
We think you'll be surprised by how clean you feel. 1 tank of water can actually shower 2 people, or 1 person with long hair. Don't believe us? Check out this testimonial video or some of our REI reviews.
What’s the difference between the Full Kit and Half Kit?
The half kit is for people who already have a shower head, shower wand, and valve that diverts the water from their shower head to their shower wand. The half kit includes a replacement attachment for the shower wand. The full kit is for people who only have a shower head mounted on a wall. The full kit includes a diverter valve and extra hose line to send water from the showerhead to the sponge. The diverter valve also lets you disperse water from both your shower head and the EcoSponge.
How do I wash long hair with the Geyser?
It only takes .5 gallons to completely clean your hair! Check out this Long Hair Tutorial to learn how.
What kind of soap should I use?
For best results, add liquid or gel soap to your scrub before starting your shower. Bar soap doesn't work well with the EcoShower. We recommend non lathering soaps which don't "over suds" and cause you to waste water with excess rinsing. If you're showering in the great outdoors and don't pack your gray water out, ALWAYS use biodegradable soap like Dr. Bronner's or Campsuds.
Does the EcoShower work with my instant propane water heater?
Yes! However, your water savings will be limited to the flow rate required to start the ignition. All propane water heaters require a certain amount of water flow before it engages the flame and heats water. For example, the CampLux systems start heating water at .3gpm. Consult your water heater’s manual to find your minimum activation flow rate. Don’t let this dissuade you! These flow rates are way lower than the 1.5gpm normally delivered through a shower head! However, the Geyser System is better. We noticed people using on average .15gpm for a refreshing hot shower.

Does the EcoShower work with my tank water heater?
Yes! All you need is .15gpm for a refreshing hot shower. As an example, the Truma water heaters hold 2.6 gallons of hot water. This is now plenty for 3-4 people to shower. In fact, you’ll get the same water savings as the Geyser System.
What’s the Best Way to Extend the Life of my EcoScrub?
The Eco Scrub lasts between 10-30 showers depending on use. Make sure to squeeze all the water out of the sponge after use then hang it to dry. Don't store your scrub wet. You can sanitize the Eco Sponge by microwaving, boiling, or washing it in the dishwasher / washing machine. Check out this video….
Can I Use The EcoShower on Oher Portable Camping Showers?
Yes, but only if it has a ½” threaded connection on the shower hose. Be sure to check your camping shower doesn’t have any proprietary, push-to-connect couplers.
Do I Need to Add Teflon Tape to the Threads?
It never hurts, but we include o-rings with every EcoShower to ensure a watertight seal.

What's your Warranty? We cover the EcoShower under a limited lifetime warranty. You heard us right! FOR LIFE! We use only the highest quality materials tested rigorously domestically and abroad. If something goes wrong, it's on us and we'll even cover the shipping. Customer voids warranty if they break components due to improper operation or storage.
